Collage Gallery

In most instances, my collage work is completed using my own prepared papers.  I often spend a session just painting and printing on thin papers so I have a selection of colours to choose from when starting a new project.  I use acrylics, either fluid or inks, as well as black or white gesso for printing.  Favourite papers for this purpose are tissue, mulberry paper and thin cartridge (drawing paper), but in some work I have used tea bag paper, book pages, pressed leaves etc.  I have tried canvas and wooden panels as a substrate, but prefer watercolour paper which can be cropped, if necessary, to suit the final image.

  2. Thanks Malcolm. I nearly missed your comment as I don't appear to be receiving notifications as I did originally. I can only cope so far with this technology! I frequently visit your blog, enjoying your superb sketches and particularly your vibrant tissue collages.
